Ahhh, what a Sweetheart of a house! Two 20' round adobe Bedroom/Studios (Hummingbird & Warbler) connected by a Living Area with Sitting Room, Dining Nook, Kitchenette, Tub, Composting Toilet System & Patio.
Mi Casa is one of our two 1200sf adobe GuestHouses. The other is Honey House, almost identical just a tad more down-home. Tour you GuestHouse and GuestRoom with our photos.
Mi Casa & Honey House are each 1200 square feet of adobe clay, wood, nontoxic & green construction, passive solar living with enough glass to blur distinctions between indoors and outside. Mi casa, or Honey House, is your Home for as long as you choose to stay with us-- days, weeks or months.
Mi Casa is smoke- & pet-free space. Please note that Mi Casa and Honey House are also wheelchair accessible. Both house 4 women in 2 beds in each house. Additional cot beds can be set up with prior arrangement.
You may wish to rent the entire Mi Casa for yourself or for you and your friends. Our RATE (click link for all prices) for all of Mi Casa, the entire house, is $140 first night and $120 for subsequent nights. A full week is only $740.
If the entire house is more space than you want, you may choose to stay in either Hummingbird or Warbler with full use of the connecting Living Area. Rate for one room, either Hummingbird or Warbler, is $90 first night & $70 subsequent nights. A full week is only $440. See PRICES page for further rate information & discounts.
Honey House is almost identical to Mi Casa, just somewhat more down-home. Honey House is also our GuestHouse if you plan to stay for several weeks. Honey House has an 8x12 loft with mattresses so can easily accommodate larger groups.
You may wish to rent the entire Honey House for yourself or for you and your friends. Our RATE (click link for all prices) for all of Honey House, the entire house, is $125 first night and $105 for subsequent nights. A full week is only $650. Additonal charge for more than 4 women.
If the entire house is more space than you want, you may choose to stay in either Flicker or Gecko with full use of the connecting Living Area. Why are
Mi Casa & Honey House Spcial?
Both Mi Casa's & Honey House's 1200sf are conveniently arranged in thirds. Our two 20-foot round Bedroom/ Studios (Hummingbird & Warbler in Mi Casa; Flicker & Gecko in Honey House) are on either end. The two rounds are connected by a large Living Space--Kitchenette, Sitting Area, Dining Nook & Bath.
These are all wonderful spaces, though I would say more towards the rustic side rather than the elegant. But then, most women do describe them as rather elegant, smile.
For the most space for yourself or for you and friends, you may choose to rent the entire house. Or, you may choose either Hummingbird or Warbler with full use of the connecting Living Area. Ditto Flicker and Gecko in Honey House.
It's just a step out the 16-feet of glass patio door to the bricked patio's umbrella-shaded table & chairs.
Our Main House is 300 feet up a gentle incline from Mi Casa. 750sf of the Main House is reserved for your Guest use 24/7.
At the Main House, you'll find Our 7-foot commercial octagonal hottub, our several thousand book library of books by women, plus three sitting areas where you can read, chat or listen to music or audio tapes. Several dozen strong-woman-character videos are also available.
Honey House is identical to Mi Casa and is 300 feet "downhill" from Mi Casa. Buildings are close enough for a community feel, yet distant enough for privacy.
Your view is the wondrous red-clay and rock mesa which borders us to the East & you overlook our garden to the valley beyond.

Many women gathered to help build these beautiful hand-crafted adobe houses. There is a simple elegance that comes from wood, clay & women's energy and which reflects our simple Earth-friendly living philosophy.
We built with women's health & accessibility as well as the environment always in mind. Mi Casa and Honey Houseas well as our Treatment Casitas, has no petroleum distillates or chemical components. We also use natural, scentless, environmentally-sound cleaning and personal products.
Buildings have roof-run-off water collection for the back-yard orchardettes, solar hot water, composting toilet & passive solar heating that is supplemented with either wood fires or electric heaters.
